WELCOME TO POSTAL EMPLOYEES UNION

06 July 2012

CONFEDERATION OF CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOYEES &WORKER ,NEW DELHI CIRCULAR.

Conf/ 08/  2012 Dated:3.07.2012

Dear Comrades,

This is to inform all National Sectt. Members that a meeting of the National sect. Will be held on 25th July, 2012 at the Confederation CHQ.  The meeting will discuss and approve the draft memorandum  on demands to be submitted to the Prime Minister.  As per the decision of the National Executive, we are also to finalise the date for the strike action so that it could be announced at the rally after the March to Parliament on 26th July, 2012.  All Sectt. members are therefore  requested to make it convenient to be present on 25th July, 2012 at 3.00 PM at the Confdn. CHQ so that we can finally decide upon the date.

4th December and 11th Decembers are the two dates suggested by many comrades for the proposed strike action.  On both the dates, the Parliament is expected to be in session. We must finalise the date on 25th inst.

In the meantime, queries have been raised by many comrades of the desirability of organising the March to Parliament on 26th July, 2012, in the background of the decision of the Government to postpone the Parliament session  to August, 2012 in view of the proposed election of Vice President of India.  It is our firm opinion that under no circumstances, we should postpone or defer the programme slated for 26th July, 2012.  Many comrades from far and distance places have booked their ticket to participate in the programme and the campaign undertaken by our comrades have made a great impact.  All affiliates and State Secretaries may kindly inform the members that the programme of March to Parliament slated for 26th July 2012 stands and no change is possible at this point of time.

The State Secretaries may kindly send us a report over the campaign programme undertaken so far, as the Sectt. would like to review it in the first week of July, 2012.

                With greetings,
Yours fraternally,

K.K.N. KUTTY

Dear Com,
Sub:- Mid carrier Training to the PA(CO) ,MACP-II,III 2 weeks training –request for
modification of timings of training at PTC Mysore to be held from 16-7-2012 to 7-9-     2012, for   AP/KL/Karnataka-reg
Ref:- Down loaded from PTC Mysore web site.
This is regarding training to the PA(CO) inservice trainig for MACP,I,II,III. From 16-7-2012 to 7-9-2012. We welcome the Mid carrier Training  programme to the PACO in Circle Admninistrative staff. But the Timings and accomdation notified is not conducivefor training, As per thePTC Mysore the Ist batch  is scheduled to l start from 0730AM to 1330PM.  The IInd Batch starts at 1400hrs to 2000hrs.

The staff working in the circle have approched  the circle union to taken up the matter  with CHQ immediately. This is with referance to our telephonic talk we had on 28-6-2012.

All the staff have expressed their apprehension regarding the unsuitable timeings and wanted to have a single batch with regular office timings i.e. from 9.30 to 5-30 PM, so that they can properly concentrate on the training being imparted by PTC Mysore.

The male trainees from AP(only) are to be accomdated at far away place whlich  is 8.KM away from PTC Mysore. This is gross discrimination shown towards AP Trainees though Kerala and Karnatak trainees are to be accomadated at PTC Mysore only.  This is to be changed  as trainees should always stay the campus only.
The PTC notification is enclosed for your referance.  You are requested to take up the matter immediately with the Directorate and suitable remedial measures may be taken please.. .
            Thanking you,
